Dr. Thompson is the director of the Creating Wellness Center and is the newest partner to Performance Chiropractic after running his family-based private chiropractic practice in northern Kentucky for the past 15 years. He attended Logan College of Chiropractic and his wife Beth is a native St. Louisan, so it’s a homecoming for them and their children, Abby, 12, and Jack, 11. The family feels at home already because St. Louis is such a great family town.

Dr. Thompson uses the Creating Wellness system to assess, develop and coach each person through his/her journey to re-establishing a healthy lifestyle. The program’s simple approach is achieving balance in the three dimensions of health: Be Fit (physical), Eat Right (biochemical) and Think Well (psychological). The good news is the program’s success is measurable, with positive results already published through Emory University and available to you. His understanding of the three facets of health and his personalized approach allow him to connect with each patient.

He graduated magna cum laude from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1994, has a master degree in exercise science from Indiana State University and worked as an exercise physiologist in New York City and Atlanta before chiropractic college. He earned post-graduate certification in rehab and was certified most recently as a chiropractic wellness physician. Dr. Thompson played football at Hanover College and because he practices what he preaches is able to still enjoy playing some serious volleyball and run marathons.

Over the past 15 years he has dedicated himself to both his patients and his profession, serving the Kentucky Association of Chiropractors in a variety of leadership positions including district president. He currently serves on the International Chiropractic Association’s board of directors for the Council on Wellness Science.
